The company was formed in 1995 by director Andy Meikle. The milestone marks how MSC has grown to become a leading provider of material processing equipment and services, says Andy.

Since its formation, MSC has placed more than 260 mobile screening and recycling units throughout New Zealand. From an early stage, operations focused on high-quality product and the ability to provide customers with crucial hands-on experience forged during the 40 plus years the MSC team has been involved in the industry.

This strategy has remained unchanged through the years. The company has stood the test of time as an established dealership of screening and crushing equipment to the extractive and recycling industries in New Zealand.

"We’ve always focused on ways to help our client’s needs; we pride ourselves on delivering the right solution and after-sales support," says Andy.

For more than 25 years, MSC has developed a reputation for providing solutions for difficult-to-process materials, including aggregates, compost, peat, palm kernel, animal feed, woodchips, soils, bark, asphalt, and lime. Andy says integrity is at the heart of the company and they are truly passionate about supplying their customers with the right machine.

"Receiving your new product is just the beginning of your relationship with us," he says.

"We offer the highest level of customer care and take the time to optimise your equipment to your specific application so you can achieve the highest possible production rates. Once your equipment is installed and running, we remain accessible and are there to support your needs."

MSC remains a New Zealand-owned and operated family business, backed by a team of dedicated industry professionals. A second generation is now heavily involved in the organisation.

Dan Meikle, operations manager, has been with MSC for more than 15 years and runs day-to-day operations as well as being involved in sales and technical support.

"We’re open and transparent in all our dealings; we aim to make the customers’ life easy and to deliver a positive experience, with reliable equipment," says Dan.

"We train the customer to operate the equipment safely and efficiently and offer our support whenever needed. Our superior products and services enhance customers’ productivity, are cost-effective to run, yet focus on reducing environmental impact.’’

Andy says they are proud of reaching this milestone. The company’s growth has been built by a professional and dedicated team—a testament to MSC’s commitment, which has allowed them to continue to provide high-quality services to its customers new and old.

"MSC offers a vast array of highly customisable products ensuring that we offer the exact machine requirement that suits conditions and application," says Andy. "We have continuously developed our offerings. MSC’s portfolio today includes:

Terex Evoquip: compact crushing and screening products, developed with a focus on easy maintenance, fuel efficiency, and ease of transport.

Terex Ecotec: Slow, medium, and high-speed shredders, trommel screens, recycling screens, waste handlers, and conveyors.

Lloyd Engineering: Market-leading screening buckets.

"Thank you to all who have been part of our journey so far. Thank you for your trust and custom to date, and we look forward to continuing to serve our customer base going forward. Here’s to many more years of supplying equipment, continued partnerships, and building new friendships."
