The Cobra 230R is versatile and easy to use

The EvoQuip Cobra 230R impactor is ideal in a blasted limestone, with 500 minus feed material (depending on customer requirements, feed can go up to 700mm in limestone).

The robust and proven impact crusher chamber, which is currently on-site in the North Island, gives excellent reduction ratio and high consistency of product shape, with optimal crushing conditions.

The Cobra has a standard hopper capacity of 2.6 cubic metre. The machine is fitted with a 2440mm x 1200mm (8’ x 4’) single deck screen system, which feeds material onto a fines conveyor ‘1000mm (40") wide belt discharge belt’.

The oversize conveyor can be operated in a recirculating mode, with oversize material being returned to the hopper for further reduction by re-crushing. The afterscreen is fitted with 65mm screen media recirculating back to the crusher.

The Cobra featured here is producing 65mm end product on-specification of crushed aggregate. The mobile crusher is operating at an engine speed of 1700rpm. The blowbar configuration is 2 half/2 full.

Dan Meikle, MSC operations manager, comments, "We’re proud to be part of the dynamic and growing EvoQuip team, working in partnership with them to offer the best solutions for our customers and to growing the EvoQuip brand in New Zealand.

"The control system is simple to operate and set-up time was minimal, enabling us to start crushing quickly. With easy access to the hydraulics, refuelling points, and impact chamber, it makes maintenance and adjustments simple for the operator. The customer feedback on the Cobra 230R has been fantastic, with good, solid results in production, set-up time, and ease of use."
