Mobile Mechanical Solutions (MMS) is a growing business, operating commercial vehicle workshops in three locations and employing 50 people in the Lower North Island.

Their head office is in Palmerston North, with a 10-bay workshop and the company also operates from a drive-through six-bay workshop in Masterton and a three-bay with drive-through in Whanganui but they are in the process of building a new five-bay
drive-through facility in the new industrial development along Mill Rd Whanganui.

MMS operates a fleet of 11 fully equipped service vehicles and specialises in repairs and servicing of trucks, trailers, plant, and earthmoving equipment, as well as the supply of parts and consumables to suit all makes and models.

Founded in 2005, the business covers a wide swath of the lower North Island (South of Taupo) with their workshops and mobile mechanics, being well-equipped to respond efficiently to a wide range of services, including breakdowns, general maintenance, repairs, and installations.

MMS’ 24-hour, emergency call-out service is available for any mechanical issues that arise after normal operating hours to the lower North Island via the three workshops.

Along with this, the company is the Hydraulink, hose and fitting agent for the Manawatu region with three dedicated mobile repair vehicles, offering hydraulic hose repairs, hydraulic system repairs, and hydraulic rams repairs.

The company is also an agent for a number of well-known truck brands: Scania, Isuzu, Western Star, MAN, and Detroit Diesel. It’s also a Capricorn Society Supplier.

Parts are another significant area of the business expertise, with a wide range of parts for their franchise brands on the shelf, as well an extensive stock holding of truck and trailer components.

MMS specialises in the importing of parts to suit Volvo construction machinery and most other brands. The company uses and supplies Castrol oil products, Supercharge, and Exide batteries; these are easily available online from the MMS website.
