The Hawke’s Bay Forestry Group are extending nominations for the next Hawke’s Bay Forestry Awards to 3 October 2022

The Hawke’s Bay Forestry Group are extending nominations for the next Hawke’s Bay Forestry Awards to 3 October 2022, with the awards night being held at the Napier Conference Centre on 2 December 2022.

The awards were established in 2021 to recognise top performers in the industry throughout Hawke’s Bay and to acknowledge the economic benefits that forestry brings to the region.

The awards committee say they encourage other businesses to get involved with the event, and it’s important to recognise skilled professionals and lift the profile of forestry in the Bay.

Award categories are NZ Modern Apprentice of the Year, Trainee of the Year, Training Company/Contractor of the Year, Forestry Excellence, Roading Excellence, Harvesting Excellence, Wood Processing Excellence, Distribution Excellence, Tree Faller Excellence, Log Truck Driver Excellence, Woman in Forestry, Crew of the Year, Outstanding H&S Management, Outstanding Environmental Management, Outstanding Regional Service, Special Recognition, and Skilled Professional of the Year.
