BKT releases two new Maglift models
Two new models have been added to BKT Tires Maglift range
BKT Tires have added to their Maglift range, with two new models of tyre specifically designed for forklifts: the Maglift Eco and Maglift Premium. Produced specifically for logistical and production facilities where maximum hygiene is necessary, BKT says with the addition of the two new models, the Maglift tyre range is now available in 23 different sizes and also in a non-marking version.
Maglift ECO is made with two layers of rubber compound and has a special shape and wide lugs to guarantee outstanding stability and excellent load distribution, its manufacturer says. Among its features, there’s also the rim guard, which has been designed to protect it against damage and denting.
Completing the picture are the steel wires incorporated into the hitch that can offer better grip and reduce the risk of slippage. There are two versions available, standard and ‘LIP’ i.e. with an asymmetric hitch to avoid having to add flanges.
Maglift Premium has been designed for forklifts used for the toughest operations and comes with an extra deep tread to guarantee a long life cycle, BKT says. The design of the tread is both robust and aggressive, enabling operators to count on excellent steering control assistance and added forward and lateral traction.
The central grooving of the tread helps ensure low rolling resistance. Available in both standard and ‘LIP’ versions. BKT adds that the compound used in the products, which has particular resistance to wear and tear and to cuts, is also of fundamental importance. In addition, they say, a softer compound has been used in the central part of the tyre section to provide a more comfortable ride.
