Hidromek wins top German Design Award
Hidromek recently received an award in German Design 2020 competition for its newly developed 100% electric wheel excavator HICON 7W
This is the third award Hidromek has won, the previous two being Special Mention in German Design Award 2017 for HMK 600 MG motor grader and the Winner award in German Design Award 2018 for HMK 640 WL wheel loader.
The competition, organised annually by German Design Council, recognises projects that make pioneering contributions to the area of international design.
The 100% electric HICON 7W developed by with the goal of specialisation in the electric construction equipment category of the future, says the manufacturer, and stands out with it being smart, economic, and eco-friendly.
Its compact dimensions allow it to easily be put to work in many parts of the city. It also relays information with its rear screen to its surroundings for safe driving with its Environmental Safety System.
The 100% electric wheel excavator HICON 7W was exhibited for the first time in bauma 2019 in Germany—one of the biggest fairs in the sector.
