Porter Equipment Australia were named a compaction equipment dealer for Ammann in Australia
Porter Equipment Australia’s addition as the new dealer will make Ammann compaction products accessible at more outlets across the country.
"This distribution agreement provides Ammann with more breadth and depth," Paul Vandersluis, managing director of Ammann Australia, says.
"Porter Equipment Australia is a national player and has a presence in all states of Australia."
Equipment will be officially supplied from 3 June and Porter Equipment Australia will provide both retail and aftersales services.
"Porter Equipment Australia is delighted to be partnering with Ammann to bring this premium compaction equipment to the Australian market," Darren Ralph, general manager of Porter Equipment in New Zealand and Australia, says.
"Ammann presents a significant opportunity for Porter Equipment Australia to grow its footprint into the compaction space and I have no doubt that we will be able to optimise the market position for this product."
Products to be distributed include both light equipment, such as rammers and vibratory plate compactors, and heavy machines, including rollers used in soil and asphalt compaction.
In New Zealand, Youngman Richardson are the distributors of Ammann.
