Neilo Equipment’s latest innovation is a small yet incredibly effective machine

The Neilo B3150 Grader is designed to combine the perfect amount of power with a compact and easy-to-transport form.

Weighing in at a mere 1.3 tonnes, the machine is more than ideal for the formation of pathways, foundations, driveways, and other smaller jobs requiring high precision.

The 1850mm blade has been engineered to last the distance, with six directions of movement. It features large removable wings for additional grading capacity and a reversible cutting edge to save costs and reduce downtime.

Ease of use

The B3150 is compact and easy to transport

The B3150’s ease of use is one of its most compelling features. The hydrostatic drive delivers a smooth, consistent ride and eliminates the distraction of using a clutch or changing gears, allowing the operator to focus on the grade.

A 31hp Kubota engine provides the power needed to get quickly around the site while powering the hydraulic components. The cab-less design keeps the B3150’s blade in view at all times, reducing fatigue and improving precision, while enabling easy access to the seat. A folding ROPs enables the B3150 to fit under low doorways and tighter spaces.

Large turf tyres prevent damage to sensitive surfaces and provide plenty of grip for grading.

The rear layout retains the three-point linkage, allowing the usage of a drag broom or other standard attachments when the B3150 is not in grading mode.

When the B3150 is combined with a Leica 2D system, it creates one of the market’s most precise compact graders, Neilo says. The system is easy to use and highly accurate, allowing even the most demanding jobs to be finished precisely. Neilo is an approved Leica dealer, and their team is highly skilled at working with challenging laser set-ups. Alternatively, a buyer’s existing 2D equipment can be utilised by specifying their new B3150 grader with their own 2D-ready kit (laser interface and masts).

Maximise investment

Use just one machine for both grading and sweeping

Buyers can maximise their investment with the addition of a Neilo front broom. Fitted comfortably on the front, this addition can be helpful on any job, allowing operators to find the correct grade and tidy the site with the same machine. A dust suppression kit can also be added for a dust-free sweeping experience.

Neilo also produces a front loader version allowing the operator to spread and grade material without switching machines. A range of optional safety equipment has been developed by Neilo, including a green/red approach light system, reverse beepers, E-stops and a canopy to keep operators safe and comfortable.

For convenience, the B3150 is available with a custom-fitted Neilo trailer that the manufacturer says is built to the same high standards customers expect from Neilo, with the trailers being designed to last for several decades.

About Neilo

The cab-less design keeps the B3150’s blade in view at all times

Neilo Equipment, based in Palmerston North, has been crafting a unique range of grader and road sweepers since its conception in 2005. Developed as a way to move on some 70hp 2WD tractors, the first Neilo Graders were a real success. Founder Neil O’Fee took the demand from strength to strength, with his engineering prowess being put to good use.

All products are built on Kubota tractors, a brand renowned worldwide for their reliability and performance, making them an ideal match for Neilo’s precision-engineered sweepers and graders, all installed without affecting the original Kubota warranty. With all components built to last, they’re a reliable investment that will be with you for the long haul.

The B3150 Grader range

Neilo M7040 Grader

A powerful 70ph tractor with a precision 2400mm under-slung blade makes for a formidable combination. Available in open-cab configuration or air-conditioned cabin for year-round comfort, the M7040’s innovative grading system enables fine adjustments on the move, while the blade design allows the operator to slew on a level plain (when in rolled back mode). Combined with an optional Leica Laser/2D system, the features help produce a precision finish. Add on a quick-hitch front broom and a dust suppression unit, then choose from various safety features to meet a site’s specifications.

Neilo B3150 Road Broom

The mainstay of the Neilo range, the compact tractor Road Broom, is a combination of performance and reliability. The large, high-performance 1750mm wide broom is hydraulically operated from the air-conditioned and heated cabin. Its innovative design allows operators to sweep at the exact positioning required. Servicing is made easy with only a hammer and two spanners needed to replace worn brushes. A top-mounted ‘Top Spin’ pre-cleaner protects the engine from dust. The B3150 is available with an optional dust suppression unit, a custom-built Brent Smith trailer, and various safety features to keep operators safe.

Neilo L5740 Road Broom

The Neilo L5740 Road Broom is for the serious contractor. The big brother of the B3150, the machine has nearly double the horsepower of its little brother at 59hp to help contractors to speed through their tasks. The unique spring-activated broom design follows the lateral pivot, reducing brush wear and coning. Order it with a 1750mm or 2100mm broom, an optional dust suppression unit, windscreen protectors, and a custom-built Brent Smith trailer.

Truck Mounted Broom kit

Spruce up job sites with existing crew trucks using Neilo’s front-mounted Truck Broom kit. Based on Neilo’s standard broom, this handy add-on is powered by the truck’s onboard PTO, which, in turn, provides the power to the broom’s hydraulic system. Neilo provides the broom hardware for buyer’s preferred technician to install.
