The company says they have unrivalled experience in selling and servicing ASV Posi-Track, having been involved with the brand since its introduction in New Zealand, and coincidentally mark the occasion with ASV, who are also celebrating the company’s 35th anniversary.

Recognised by many as a pioneer and one of the leaders in the Compact Track Loader (CTL) industry, ASV Posi-Track is often regarded as being the most advanced CTL in the world, with industry-leading ground clearance, best-in-class traction, performance, and speed, Advancequip says.

With a huge parts stock covering models from the first ASV R-series sold in New Zealand back in the 1990s to the latest machines and service technicians covering the length of the country, AdvanceQuip says they can offer the best in back-up and service.

ASV produces compact track loaders from 30hp through to the big Cummins-powered 120hp RT120, which is also available as a fully guarded forestry machine.

ASV RT40

AdvanceQuip says the new RT40 is the second smallest machine of the range but is known as a real powerhouse with performance not seen before in a compact machine of its size, with 20% more torque than the RT30.

Cab features

ASV designed the RT40’s cab for optimal comfort and visibility. Large windows make it easier for operators to stay aware of the surroundings.

Good lighting front and rear enhance safety, and the cab has ample headroom for taller operators. Hydraulic joysticks featuring Proportional Auxillary Control operate the travel and loader functions and help make operating easy and intuitive.

Undercarriage

The RT40 also makes good use of the patented Posi-Track system, which features a flexible rubber track with internal positive drive sprockets to help provide superior traction and track life.

The open-rail and drive-sprocket design, rather than the enclosed system seen on many competitive undercarriages, helps increase sprocket life, along with easier and faster cleaning. The open layout allows material to spill out and reduces the risk of abrasive material getting trapped and wearing away at components.

In addition, AdvanceQuip says Posi-Track loaders feature more ground contact points than competitive models, which spreads the unit’s weight evenly for lower psi and extra flotation on delicate surfaces.

The result for the RT40, which contains 12 contact points, is an industry-low ground pressure of 3.5psi. This means superior traction on steep, slippery, and wet ground, helping give contractors greater control and better pushing capabilities.
