Deals on Wheels is in Australia for the Brisbane Truck Show 2017 where the crew checks out the trucks and equipment on display

Day two of the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show saw the venue open early for media to access the stands. This gave the Deals on Wheels crew an opportunity to tour the trucks and equipment on display and obtain ‘people-free’ images.

When the gates were finally open (official opening time was 10am), hundreds of people made their way to the site venue. Within a short period of time, many parts of the venue were heavily congested as truck fans made their way around the hundreds of different exhibits covering the entire transport industry, from logistics to training, safety, and compliance.

A spokesperson for transport engineering company South East Queensland Tilt Tray P/L, trading as Strongback, reported brisk enquiries about their products, with some coming from as far afield as New Zealand and the Pacific basin.

The show runs until Sunday, with strong crowds expected throughout the weekend.

Catch all the excitement of Day 1 that saw new models being unveiled by Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, and Freightliner.
