CASE Construction Equipment’s latest D-Series range of mini excavators features models from 0.9 to 5.4T tonnes

Most sizes from the recently released CASE Construction Equipment’s D-Series range are now available in New Zealand through distributor MIMICO.

A recent demo day evaluation held in Paerata, South Auckland by Little Digger Hire, saw the business put the newly released CASE CX19D (1.99 tonnes) mini excavator through its paces.

The range of adaptable mini excavators features mechanical and hydraulic quick couplers, load-sensing and electro-hydraulic systems, along with the ability to handle up to three auxiliary circuits.

"We put the CASE (CX19D) head-to-head with a Eurocomach ES18ZT and it was worth the wait," says Lenny Blake of Little Digger Hire. "We have 13 Eurocomach machines in our fleet, so know small excavators well.

"When using tight access gear, smooth function hydraulics that have no pressure spikes are essential — something other brands can fail miserably at.

"We have been waiting for this to hit the New Zealand market, with the balance of the multiple hydraulic functions and well-shared strength of the power-to-weight ratio makes it a top contender."

Features on the D-Series models include zero tail swing, dozer blade with foldable extension as standard on models equipped with the extendable undercarriage, swing boom for confined space work, and the option of full cab versions.
