National operations manager, Dale Lilley has been appointed general manager of New Zealand construction equipment supplier Youngman Richardson.

His extensive background includes management roles in the hire industry, and most recently, he has held key positions within the company.

"We’re delighted to have the opportunity to be able to use Dale’s 25 years of management experience and to broaden his involvement across all aspects of our company," says Youngman Richardson managing director Ed Richardson. "His skills and knowledge will assist greatly in future-proofing our business for the years ahead.".

Before joining Youngman Richardson 10 years ago, Dale held key management roles nationally with a major hire company group.

He was originally appointed to run Youngman Richardson’s Christchurch branch with the aim of growing the business throughout Canterbury and the wider South Island regions while at the same time streamlining all facets of the branch operation.

Following the success from his time there, Dale was relocated to Auckland to take on the role of national operations manager with a focus on improving business strategies. This has led to his recent promotion to general manager of the company.
