One-day online Euro auction

Euro Auctions reports a huge leap in bidders and final hammers at recent events as it gears up for a one-day ‘timed online auction’ on 16 May

"During 2017, we saw a big increase in the proportion of sales completed via internet bidding, which now accounts for over a third of all transactions," Paul Haynes, Euro Auctions’ country manager in Australia, says.

"Demand for quality used equipment is definitely on the up, and the yearly growth trend looks to be continuing. We’re achieving strong prices and the number of vendors consigning quality equipment for inclusion in both the upcoming auctions is on the increase, as are the ever-increasing first-time bidder registrations to participate in these auctions," he says.

The Brisbane one-day online auction is touted to draw a lot of interest from around the Pacific Rim, with a wide selection of machinery, some of which buyers may find difficult to currently source in their region, says Paul.

Buyers need to register prior to bidding at euroauctions.com.
