Set up in 2021 to facilitate enquiries for the hire of attachments, Robur Hire has grown into an established equipment supplier allowing contractors to increase utilisation of their equipment and enabling opportunities for serious commercial contractors.

Robur Hire’s business model provides contractors with straight out hire of equipment or a hire-to-buy option. The latter allows contractors to assess how a piece of machinery performs and can be ideal for jobs that extend in duration.

With branches located in Kerikeri, Auckland, and Christchurch, most main areas are serviced, with Robur Hire saying their intention is to open more branches in the not-too-distant future.

Virtually every aspect of excavator attachment is covered by Robur Hire’s stock list, with contractors having the ability to undertake quarrying and demolition work, digging and trenching, drilling and piling, vegetation management, and material processing and screening, along with a host of other activities.

Popular attachments include grab and clamp buckets, log grapples, and fixed rotating grabs, while unusual attachments such as extension arms, concrete buckets, and adapter plates are available for those out-of-the-box jobs.

An attachment proving its mettle is Vibro rippers, suited to high production in quarrying or hard excavation environments.

Robur Hire says that a number of businesses have said the attachment’s efficiency has allowed them to beat production deadlines and reduce detrimental hammer impact on their excavators.

Keeping contractors in business and enabling them to expand the scope of their offerings while not purchasing expensive equipment that may only be used occasionally is what Robur Hire says they’re all about.
