Stevens Group is the new New Zealand sole distributors for Anaconda

Steven’s Group is a third-generation family-owned business founded in 1974 by Hayward and Brian Johnston. What started as a small father-and-son manufacturing and engineering business has turned into a company that offers a portfolio of internationally well-known brands.

With almost 50 years’ experience in the industry, manufacturing, research and development, importing, wholesale, retail and hire, the family business today has three generations of experience at its core and operates out of a brand-new purpose-built 7000sqm facility in Auckland.

Among others, the business sells well-known machinery brands, such as Walker and Hustler mowers (for more than 30 years) and is a successful dealer for companies such as Morbark and Doppstadt.

With a spare parts stock of 20,000 plus product lines and its on-site engineering facility, Stevens Group continues the company’s competitive niche of modifying and acclimatising imported equipment to ensure it works optimally in New Zealand conditions.

Recent exciting business updates

Stevens Group continues to build on their portfolio of product offerings. The latest transaction includes the sales rights to leading brands, including Powerscreen, Terex Washing Systems, Pronar, Anaconda, Rapid International, and Kiverco.

Sole distributor of Anaconda

Steven’s Group is now responsible for the sales of the entire product portfolio of Anaconda equipment. This includes the supply of genuine Anaconda spare parts, technical support, and machine maintenance assistance.

Anaconda is a Northern Ireland manufacturer of highly adaptable equipment used in various aggregate industries, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag, and recycled concrete.

"Anaconda machines are versatile and extremely user-friendly, which we see being targeted at the contractor and smaller quarry market. As well as aggregate applications, the machines are ideal for use in landscaping operations, land development and a variety of general contractor applications," says Stevens Group general manager Ken Johnston.
