Product feature: MOTOFOG

MOTOFOG units are compact, easily transportable, and have low operating costs, says Boss Attachments

From crusher buckets to dust suppressors—and almost everything in between—Boss Attachments say they can deliver unbeatable solutions to wide-ranging demolition needs.

"Take our new MOTOFOG dust suppression technology for example," says managing director Paul Herbison. "It promises to be a breath of fresh air for safety-conscious construction and demolition contractors."

Paul adds that the Italian-designed and manufactured MOTOFOG has become a world-leading dust suppression brand with an operational range of up to 50 metres. Units are compact, easily transportable, and have low operating costs. The range also includes diesel- and electric-powered model options.

"As well the provision of better site safety for workers, the low water consumption feature of these units will be of particular interest to contractors operating in Auckland and other regions experiencing water shortages."

MOTOFOG features a dual jet system that provides a flexible range of operating modes that can be easily adjusted to suit specific operational requirements. The dual jets can be remotely manoeuvred vertically and horizontally, allowing spray to be accurately directed to the actual dust source without water wastage or disruption to site work. Units are also fast and easy to set up—simply add water and you are ready to go. The range includes four different model sizes and hire options are available.

"Since it was introduced over a decade ago, MOTOFOG has raised the bar on European dust suppression expectations and we’re expecting to same positive reaction from our New Zealand customers," says Paul.

He adds that Boss Attachments has always focused on equipment that delivers significant operating benefits for clients, and their Xcentric Crusher Bucket is a great example of this core operating philosophy.

"These technologically advanced crusher buckets are in a class of their own and deliver at least 35% greater production than conventional crusher buckets," says Paul. "One client, who now has two of them, has described them as real game changers."

The focus on delivery of operational benefits is also evident in the Xcentric Ripper range that has helped revolutionise high volume rock excavation.

"They are up to five times more productive than conventional breakers and extraction methods," says Paul.

The Boss demolition range also includes the all-new Boss Breaker Range. These breakers have just been released in the Australian market and are proving to be such a massive hit that the company reports initial stock sold out in under a week.

Rounding out the Boss demolition range are other brands such as OSA demolition attachments that cover the full range of requirements and Fortress—a heavyweight champion of the demo game, its distributor says.

These are followed by Gauss hydraulic circular electromagnetic lifters, which Paul says delivers a compact, all-in-one solution for heavy-duty handling of iron and steel.

The range also includes Boss-supplied Remu screening buckets, which the company says are the world’s most copied screening bucket.

The Boss stable includes Antraquip drum cutters as well, which are designed to deliver a reduced impact solution to demolition and are said to often out-produce hammers of the same size without the same noise impact.

"Our brands deliver major benefit to clients—especially right now—so if you’re looking at options to cut costs and make more money, talk to us today," says Paul.
