OMC Power Equipment are proud to be the New Zealand distributor for the Italian-made Cormidi Tracked Dumper range

The high level of quality and compactness of the machines enables them to get into many hard-to-access areas

The Cormidi Dumpers excel in the market due to the high level of quality and compactness, which enables them to get into many hard-to-access areas. Cormidi only specialise in tracked machines, no wheeled models. This is due to the wider range of terrain that tracks can operate in, from wet ground to dry, steep ground, which makes them a favourite for New Zealand conditions.

The Cormidi Tracked Dumper range covers all areas of the market, from narrow width machines at 700mm wide with a 500–600kg carrying capacity, then in the same machine offering a high tip model as well, which has become increasingly popular in the equipment hire industry with many of the general equipment hire companies around New Zealand now offering the Cormidi machines as part of their hire range.

The other model that has seen a huge surge in demand is the self-loading tracked dumper, mainly used for landscaping work and tramping and bike track construction and maintenance – these units typically come in the 800kg carrying capacity, electric start petrol engines and with a self-loading arm are able to cut, scrape and load themselves and also load from a stockpile, which completely eliminates the need of a second machine on site.

The Cormidi machines feature no belts, genuine Honda engines and excellent hydraulic systems

With the 800kg carrying capacity of the machine, it enables users to move material a lot faster than a traditional compact excavator and the same machine can be used for cutting and levelling the track.

The Cormidi machines feature no belts, genuine Honda engines and excellent hydraulic systems – and with the first machine sold in New Zealand 16 years ago still going strong, proving just that. OMC carry an extensive range of spare parts in stock plus a good stock of new machines all the time across the model range both in Auckland and Christchurch.
