Business feature: AdvanceQuip's 15th anniversary

AdvanceQuip celebrates their 15th anniversary by partnering with Harvey Norman to reward machinery buyers

It’s not often in the world of machinery you see an association with luxury homewares and electronic gadgetry. But that’s exactly what has come together for AdvanceQuip this month with the company celebrating their 15th anniversary, with sales of the ASV Positrack predating the current company structure by another five years.

To celebrate the occasion and give something back to the customers who’ve made it all possible, AdvanceQuip has partnered with Harvey Norman to reward machinery buyers for August, September, and October, giving away up to $3000 worth of gift vouchers with every new machine bought from their key brands: Case, Iveco, Astra, and ASV.

The company has successfully positioned itself as a nationwide importer and distributor of premium construction equipment with fully serviced branch locations in Auckland, Christchurch, and Gore and with independent service centres around the country—a transformation from its beginnings 15 years ago as predominantly a used truck and machinery dealer.

Founded in 2004, AdvanceQuip’s early focus, apart from used gear, was on the ASV PosiTrack, regarded by some as the all-round best compact track loader available in the world. This focus continues to the present day with the company able to provide unparalleled parts availability and technical back-up.

However, the main part of the business is now absorbed with sales and service of machinery from the full range equipment provider Case CE.

With their manufacturing plants at multiple locations in America and Europe producing premium-quality heavy machinery and exceptional back-up, Case excavators, wheel loaders, graders, and bulldozers have now become the brand of choice for many operators in New Zealand. They have gained a great reputation for comfort, reliability, fuel efficiency, and strong resale value when the hours get up a bit.

Case CE is owned by the huge CNH Group of companies of which Iveco is also part of, so Iveco and their specialty heavy brand Astra Trucks was a natural addition to the range offered by AdvanceQuip.

The European-built Iveco truck offers heavier build quality than its Japanese rivals and while beautiful as a highway truck, it also excels in off-road applications. The Astra HHD range is a super heavy version of the Iveco, boasting payload capacity up to 41 tonnes and is ideal for off-highway and quarry use.
