By: Media Release

Isuzu trucks is pleased to announce that it has recently received its first shipment of fully Automatic F Series (10,400-23,000kg GVM) models.

Isuzu -F-Series -2015

The F Series range of Isuzu trucks has been the number one selling brand in New Zealand since 2010 and Year to Date, this model now lies firmly in the top spot with a 34.4% market share through April 2015.

Isuzu sales and marketing manager Michael Doeg said that these new models complement Isuzu’s strategy perfectly.

"We listen to what our customers want and we are happy to be able to offer the best specification options possible, whatever their application might be," said Mr Doeg.

"Whilst we have a tailwind it is important to conduct a health check to see where we can improve, and with our customers help we can set a platform for even better results."

Despite the market growing albeit at a slower pace Isuzu trucks continues to buck the trend and increase both share and volume.

"Isuzu Light Trucks have grown in both volume and share, medium trucks have grown significantly in volume and share and Isuzu heavy trucks have lifted in both volume and share giving Isuzu an increased footprint in the market."

"To ensure that the F Series stays at number one, Isuzu NZ has been reviewing the market and we believe that for some applications the Allison Auto 2500 Series is a great transmission to complement both Manual and Automated Manual (AMT) options.

The following Allison Auto trucks have now been added to the Isuzu Medium truck lineup, some have already landed:

FRR600 Auto – 11,000kg GVM/ 240hp/ 4x2/ Steel Suspension

FRD600 Auto - 11,000kg GVM/ 240hp/ 4x2/ Air Suspension

FSR700 Auto - 14,000kg GVM/ 240hp/ 4x2/ Steel Suspension

FSD700 Auto - 14,000kg GVM/ 240hp/ 4x2/ Air Suspension

"With this new model offer we have also added a $3,500 Free Fuel bonus, until July 31, so there is no better time to contact your local Isuzu Dealer," Said Mr Doeg.
