"Kent's freight background is essential and having run his own business is a bonus as he can really relate to the needs and drivers of our customers," says Director Andrew Bishop.

Findatruckload is a web-based organisation that creates an online market place that matches transport users with transport operators to minimise empty running costs.

Born and bred in Taranaki, Kent is now based in Cambridge to be more central to his clients.

"It is great being back in the freight industry and the findatruckload premise is great, who doesn't want to reduce empty running costs and do the right thing for the environment," says Kent.

Findatruckload was established in 2009 to make use of trucks running empty as they returned from jobs. Transport users now have access to over 200 individual carriers on the findatruckload website which allows them access to those empty trucks and find a transport operator which best meets their freight needs.
