Old school trucks: NZL—Part 2
Last month we looked at a selection of NZL trucks from the ’80s through to 2000s, and this month we continue looking at some trucks from the smart fleet through to the present day
The lime green and white livery remains and still portrays a modern and professional look while the work undertaken is still as varied as it always has been from crane trucks/swinglifts through to tippers and curtainsiders doing their duties.
There’s also still a mix of company-owned and contracted trucks that can be seen the length and breadth of our island nation with most truck makes being represented in the fleet line-up.
There has, however, been one major change that occurred in 2017 when NZL Group was acquired by the TIL Group of companies, and while there has been a change of ownership, since its inception more than 60 years ago, the company still remains 100% Kiwi company-owned and operated.
