At 1490mm wide, the new machine is said to be nimble, rugged, and tough, featuring an overhauled cabin with superior space and design focussed on operator comfort.
Bobcat says the larger cab provides extra headroom and plenty of space inside the machine.

The operator receives an improved suspension seat and mounted ergonomic controls, with the one-piece seal offering quality positive pressurisation to keep out dirt and debris. The loader has an air-conditioning option—a unique feature on a machine this size.
Another unique feature, according to Bobcat, is the cab-forward design, which positions the operator closer to the working area of the machine and provides unmatched visibility in all directions.

The new loader is also said to have the largest cab door opening on the market, offering greater visibility to the cutting edge of the bucket and the corners of an attachment.

Larger window sizes increase the line of sight in tight spaces, as well as more visibility to the tracks and back of the machine. The larger top window can help make it easier and more comfortable for the operator to see an attachment with the lift arms raised—an advantage when loading trucks or performing other tasks. The T450 comes with a 61hp engine and is a 25% horsepower increase over the previous model. The hydraulic systems have been designed for higher pressure (3300 psi) to provide increased attachment performance.

Also fitted to the new T450 is a specially designed rear bumper, which extends past the tailgate to aid with protection from obstacles.
