Against the backdrop of another challenging year for the industry, AdvanceQuip says it has continued to grow its compact machinery business considerably, further establishing itself as the number one supplier of compact track loaders in New Zealand.

With COVID-19 restrictions continuing to prove challenging for all areas of the construction industry, compact machinery has shown itself to be a reliable product for customers across the country, with a range of sizes and price points offering greater flexibility for both first-time buyers and experienced players alike.

Along with established brands in Case and ASV, AdvanceQuip expanded its portfolio in 2021 with the addition of XCMG mini excavators to its range. One of the largest construction machinery manufacturers in the world, the XCMG brand has already proven to be a popular choice among customers in an ever-competitive market.

The current range has compact excavators from 1.7 to 5.5 tonnes—ideal for those embarking on smaller-scale projects or working within tight confines. In the Compact Track Loader (CTLs) market, ASV was once again the top-selling brand in 2021, retaining the position achieved in 2020, AdvanceQuip says.

ASV CTL range

ASV boasts the most comprehensive range of CTLs in the country, with the new MAX series offering customers even more options, catering for a diverse range of projects and applications. Last year also saw growth in the use of ASV CTLs in forestry applications, with the RT-120F proving popular for utilisation in ground clearing and mulching in particular.

Case is AdvanceQuip’s leading brand and has shown consistent growth year on year, with a range of both CTLs and Skid-Steer Loaders (SSLs), as well as the popular F Series Compact Wheel Loader and a selection of compact excavators, from 1.7- to six-tonne machines.

With excellent build quality, competitive finance rates, and options for bespoke customer configurations, the Case range has proven to be particularly popular with AdvanceQuip’s repeat customers.

With hopes high that 2022 will see the COVID-19 pandemic decrease in influence—with fewer restrictions and an improvement in supply chains—the growth of AdvanceQuip’s compact range looks set to continue.

As the XCMG brand further establishes itself in the New Zealand market, the options available for customers of all sizes continues to expand, with a wide price range creating a more inclusive market for buyers. With ASV and Case already proving popular year on year, AdvanceQuip will be expecting this year to continue its record-setting growth.
