Giant Loaders, manufactured in Holland, have found their way into New Zealand with doors opening up into many different industries and proving to be a very useful piece of machinery.

The Giant Loader, made by Tobrocco Machines, is also known as a tool carrier – the range of implements that can be fitted to this machine is seemingly endless.

One of its many applications is the loading and unloading heavy pallets of tiles and bricks off trucks on building and construction sites around the Bay of Plenty for McCloud Cranes.

Its versatility, size and ability to lift heavy 1100kg pallets, makes it ideal for working around tight enclosed worksites.

McCloud Cranes, based in Mount Maunganui, finds that having the standard feature of 4WD on the Giant 452T HD allows for work to continue even in muddy wet conditions where a normal forklift would struggle.

The smooth operation of the high output oil supply delivered by the renowned Bosch pumps are controlled by a firm and comfortable positioned joystick placed on the right side of the operator allowing precise and smooth placement of the forks eliminating any unnecessary jolting.

For ease of driving over uneven terrain the machine not only articulates but it also isolates allowing all four wheels to stay in contact with the ground which helps to provide control of the load on the front forks.

When the forks are not required, the 4-1 bucket is fitted to level and move dirt. The machine is fitted with a Kubota engine, which is known for its reliability and cost-effective running costs.

Forestquip are distributors of the Giant Loaders and are having great success working with a range of dealers throughout the country, providing full support for parts and service that is required.
