Construction Zone

Calling all construction lovers and lovers of big trucks and machinery. The CCNZ Construction Zone is now in an interactive format so you can get among the big rigs in action. The zone aims to highlight the main areas of construction and the big gear that is in the industry.

If you don’t have experience behind a big rig, don’t fret! There’s a chance to try your hand at a digger in the Stellar Recruitment Give it a Go zone, risk-free! And for the little ones, there’s plenty of entertainment with the CablePrice Truck rides, and a Mini Dig, which also lets your kids be digger drivers!

Jack Daniel’s BBQ Alley

Kiwis love a good barbecue. Sharpen your skills and reward your eyes as 30 teams battle it out to be crowned Grand Champion of the Jack Daniel’s Big Boys Toys Barbecue competition, all set with live music, whiskey tasting, and, of course, the chance to eat some delicious slow-cooked barbeque food.

Teams from across New Zealand and Australia are in for $10,000 in prizes and money in five categories:– Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork, and Pork Ribs. Help yourself to a cold beverage at the licensed Jack Daniel’s area, then head to the Mammoth Action Arena for the competition.

Mirthmobile from Wayne’s World

If you love the weird and quirky, and, more importantly, the cult 1990's movie Wayne’s World, you wouldn’t want to miss the Mirthmobile—Mike Meyers’ iconic blue AMC Pacer with flames painted on the sides. Definitely keep your eyes peeled for this one.

Supercars—2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast and the 2018 Ford GT

Ferraris and Fords on display is a definite must, no matter who you are. Make your way to the Driven Hall to lust over all the shinning vehicles and motorcycles from major brands.
