Attach2 Ltd acquires Robur Attachments

Attach2 has acquired Robur Attachments, saying that the move reinforces its commitment to providing a comprehensive service offering to the construction market in NZ

Attach2 acquired Robur Attachments on 18 September 2023, the company has announced.

In a press release, the company said it had obtained the brand, intellectual property, stock, and certain assets of the Robur Attachments sales division. They have also employed the core Robur Team based in Auckland and will continue to operate out of the current premises in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

Robur Attachment’s owner Clem Simpkin will continue to operate the Robur Attachments Hire division independently and under a new brand name, to be announced in the near future. 

"We had been talking for some time and I was very happy with the deal we came to with Attach2," says Clem. "Robur Attachments was doing well, but I had recently moved with my family back to Kerikeri and with other business projects underway, it seemed like a good time to sell."

Robur’s services and products will continue to be offered and the business will operate independently from Attach2, with the primary change being the bank account and the legal entity, which will be Attach2 Limited. 

Existing warranties will be associated with Robur Attachments Limited, with Attach2 Limited responsible for Robur attachments sold from 18 September 2023, which will carry the Robur product warranty conditions.

Contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain the same, with Attach2 saying customers can continue to reach out to Robur’s representatives through the usual channels. 

Attach2 says they are enthusiastic about the future possibilities that the acquisition of Robur brings and encourages customers to contact them directly for additional information or specific inquiries.
