New Hangcha off-road forklift range released in NZ
Hangcha Forklift’s New Zealand distributor, Northern Forklifts Ltd (NFL), has announced the arrival of a new range of off-road forklift vehicles
The machines are available in 2WD and 4WD configurations, with lift capacities of 2.5, 3, and 3.5 tonnes, with a variety of lift heights.
All models feature Yanmar diesel engines with torque converter transmissions, power steering, and suspension seats for driver comfort. The 4WD units can also be switched to 2WD, saving fuel and tyre wear. They also feature what the distributor says is an extra low maintenance wet brake system.
Both 2WD and 4WD models have high clearance and extra steer axle oscillation, diff locks, and lower gearing than normal duty forklifts, combined with high flotation agri tyres to give an excellent off-road performance, NFL managing director Dexter Hyland, says.
"The 2WD models will suit orchardist and growers who operate off-road but not in extreme conditions while the 4WD’s will be the preferred option for users such as vegetable growers, construction sites, and trucking companies who specialise in brick and tile deliveries to building sites," he says.
