HPL Distribution Ltd recently extended its product range and services by becoming an agent for Femac hydraulic mulchers

HPL Distribution Ltd (HPL) recently extended its product range and services by becoming an agent for Femac hydraulic mulchers.

The company says they took on the agency after repeated requests from clients about hiring mulching heads for contracting jobs and a number of enquiries from purchasers of ex-forestry blocks intending to use the machines for clearing prior to conversion to farmland areas. 

Femac is recognised for its high-quality, Italian-made equipment; the brand supplies mulching heads suitable for excavators from one to 30 tonnes.

HPL says they received their first shipment of mulchers and parts and have successfully set up multiple demonstrations for clients and contractors. The business also installs the mulching heads.

Northland-based LSR Dairy Farm Ltd (pictured) has fitted their 14-tonne KATO HD514MRBL-7 with a Femac T13 REV mulcher. The set-up will be used to convert gorse/scrub/trees into dairy farm grazing. The business chose the fixed tooth option, which is designed for heavier applications (including stump grinding).
