The Isuzu Truck NZ dealer network presence has been strengthened further, with the opening of a significantly rejuvenated Tauranga dealership operated by CAL Isuzu

"A strong dealer representation and service network nationwide is crucial to maintaining high levels of sales and support for Isuzu Truck customers," says Dave Ballantyne, general manager of Isuzu Trucks New Zealand.

The Mt Maunganui site, located at 138 Totara Street, now offers a full suite of new truck sales, parts and service, including engineering and electrical services. A key feature of the updated premises is a new Certificate of Fitness inspection lane and pit, as well as the addition of two extra service bays.

"CAL Tauranga now offers a true one-stop-shop service, as customers will be able to have a COF inspection in addition to any manner of other truck-related work," says Steve Hoyne, dealer principal of CAL Isuzu Tauranga.

"The revamp has really lifted our presence in the area, and feedback from our customers is that they enjoy coming to the new facility.

"Our 22 employees also appreciate the enhanced workplace environment, including a new café and landscaped outdoor area, so it’s a win-win all round for everyone who is involved with the dealership."

The new, larger site allows the CAL Isuzu Tauranga team to carry a wider range of parts, in many instances accelerating repair turnaround times. Isuzu Trucks is now represented by 11 master truck dealers offering full sales, parts and service facilities and 17 authorised service Centres throughout the country.
