Highlights from the Brisbane Truck Show 2021
Staged by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA), the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show was held from 13 to 16 May 2021 and was the first offshore event the Deals on Wheels team attended since COVID-19 travel restrictions came into effect in March 2020.
The show sees up to 40,000 visitors where it showcases the diverse transport industry and is a popular information and social gathering point for New Zealand truck fans and business operators.
Along with the usual displays of new trucks, trailers, and accessories at the Brisbane Convention Centre, attendees were also treated to numerous seminars, a Future Fuels and Sustainability Hub, Technology and Innovation Centre, and Jobs Hub.
The event coincided with the popular bi-annual show—the South Bank Truck Festival and Civil Construction Field Days, which was held nearby and will feature in a future issue of Deals on Wheels.
