New product release: Ditch Witch MT16
The Ditch Witch organisation has introduced the MT16 microtrencher.
The microtrencher is designed to create an ideal trench 12 to 50mm wide and up to 400mm deep, in a single, efficient pass when working with the Ditch Witch RT55 or RT80 ride-on trenchers, and the FX65 vacuum excavator.
"Our new MT16 microtrencher is designed to help operators complete fibre jobs efficiently with less time and expense. Compared to traditional installation methods, the MT16 creates consistent trenches for faster fibre deployments, reducing the cost-per-metre on fibre jobsites," Steve Seabolt, Ditch Witch USA product manager, heavy-duty trenchers, says.
The MT16 is compatible with a complete lineup of Ditch Witch saw blades, from standard carbide-tipped blades to the Ditch Witch-exclusive Fiberblade, which the company says combines the benefits of both diamond and carbide; all saw blades for the MT16 being interchangeable with standard hand tools.
