The Brendon Cold Powerwasher model can be easily adapted for dust suppression

Founded in 1984, Brendon Powerwashers is said to be the largest manufacturer of engine-driven power washers in Europe, with models now available in New Zealand through Youngman Richardson.

There’s either a cold water or hot water trailerised Powerwasher option available, with either a 15-metre or 20-metre high-pressure hose (depending on the model), a 28-litre detergent tank, and a 15-litre anti-freeze tank.

The cold water trailerised Powerwasher has a volume of 15 to 16 litres per minute at 3000–5000psi (depending on the model) while the hot water trailerised Powerwasher has a volume of 12.5 litres per minute at 3500psi.

Options of either a Yanmar electric start diesel or Honda electric start petrol engine are available depending upon the model and they give approximately 1.5 hours of cleaning time on a full tank of fuel. The hot water model is designed to easily remove graffiti.

Other features include a powder-coated steel tubular chassis and backbar together with a triple-piston Cat pump. A thermo-sensor valve protects the pump from overheating for long periods when the user is not operating the trigger.

The ease of manoeuvrability is safer with a baffled water tank, making the units a portable solution for a wide range of uses across industrial, construction, agricultural, and food industries. These include cleaning plant and machinery, landscaping, street, and concrete.

The tank lid is lockable with a removable basket filter, so the contents cannot be tampered with, along with an attachment that converts the cold Powerwasher into a dust suppression unit, which is ideal for demolition hire.

Portable, trolley-mounted Powerwashers with the same heavy-duty triple-piston Cat pump and robust steel tubular frame are also available with the following specifications:

  • Electric or petrol-powered
  • 10m–20m high pressure 3/8" braided hose (depending upon model)
  • 4.5m of suction hose and Brendon Strainer
  • 2000–5145psi (depending upon model)
  • 13.2–16L of flow per minute depending upon model
  • Weight of the unit between 70.5kg and 175kg depending upon the model
  • Solid wheel construction to minimise punctures
