OSA has become the ‘go-to brand’ for many contractors

With most businesses reeling from the tsunami of rising operating costs, it’s well worth looking closely at the benefits that the Boss range of Demolition Attachments can deliver.

"Our primary focus has always been on providing equipment that delivers increased production and lower operating costs for our clients," says Paul Herbison of Boss Attachments. "Our demolition ranges deliver these benefits in spades."

The Boss demolition range includes a number of brand leaders and international heavyweights — OSA, Fortress, Antraquip, Xcentric, Gauss, Motofog, and the Boss Hammer range.

OSA has become the ‘go-to brand’ for many contractors. A policy of continuous improvement has led to the development of a product range that delivers in every way, from improved production, increased site safety, and reduced fuel inputs to reduced waste discharge and minimal equipment downtime.

"The team at OSA lives and breathes demolition equipment," says Paul. "It’s no surprise that their equipment is so good." Designed and built to work harder for longer, the OSA range is manufactured using quality raw materials, including Hardox and Strenx.

The OSA range provides attachments for both primary and secondary demolition

The range provides attachments for both primary and secondary demolition and includes:

  • MC multi tool carriers
  • SH — steel shears
  • RV and RS primary and secondary concrete shears
  • GR — sorting grapples
  • HB — hydraulic hammers
  • FPV — fixed pulverizers

One of the clients who’s impressed with OSA is Cameron Jurgens of Whanganui-based Jurgens Demolition. "We recently used our OSA MC24 to demolish the Redclyffe Bridge near Taradale in Hawke’s Bay following Cyclone Gabrielle. It really is a tough little bugger."

Cameron says he was also impressed with the fast opening and closing of the jaw mechanisms, which makes the MC24 faster and much more efficient than alternative options.

"The performance-to-power ratio is really outstanding". The Redclyffe Bridge was a reinforced concrete structure and in anticipation of heavy wear, Cameron had ordered an extra set of bolt-on teeth.

"Paul said I wouldn’t need them, and I should have listened. At the end of the job, there was hardly any wear at all." Boss Attachments say they are a one-stop shop for demolition equipment.
