Deals on Wheels’ latest ongoing project is the restoration of a 1942 International fire truck.
No sooner had Lyndsay Whittle downed tools on the restoration of my 1953 K Bedford (featured in Deals on Wheels over the past 14 months) when he received a phone call from Evan Taylor, deputy chief of the Titirangi Volunteer Fire Brigade, asking him if he’d be interested in carrying out a refurbishment of their 1942 International fire truck.
