An event that focuses on issues affecting the supply chain and bring government, stakeholders, and operators together to discuss the issues in an open forum style, will be held at the Te Pae Christchurch convention centre on Saturday 30 July 2022 from 9am to 5pm

National Road Carriers and NZ Trucking Association, who have a combined representation of more than 3000 transport/logistics operators nationwide, are holding a one-day Trucking Industry Summit on Saturday 30 July 2022 from 9am to 5pm. It will be held at the Te Pae Christchurch convention centre.

The event will focus on issues affecting the supply chain and bring government, stakeholders, and operators together to discuss the issues in an open forum style. "With more than 3000 members our two organisations have the largest representation in the transport industry and there is no other event that brings these groups together in this way," says NZ Trucking Association CEO Dave Boyce.

Government, stakeholders, and presenters will be briefed on the subjects that the associations want covered. Open floor discussions will take place throughout the day which will ensure that the audience has a voice.

"Transport kept the supply chain moving through the pandemic and now as the economy grows, we need to make sure our voices are heard so that we shape the future together collaboratively. After all our associations together represent bulk of the supply chain," says James Smith COO National Road Carriers.

The presenters are being invited now and once they are confirmed the programme will be published. There is a limited number of trade sponsorship opportunities. "Registrations will be open first for members of the two associations and then to non-members, followed by trade suppliers.

This way we can ensure that the operators take prime seating spots," says Dave.
Those interested in attending are invited to register promptly as organisers expect it will be a sell-out event.
