"Since taking on Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso commercial vehicles in the South Island, we’ve seen exceptional interest coming from the Nelson region," says Aidan Mahony, CablePrice managing director.

For us to ensure that our customers receive the best possible aftersales service and support for these premium products, it became appropriate that we expand to included service and support into our existing Nelson operation."

Situated on a high-profile industrial site in Stoke, Nelson, the CablePrice workshop has been expanded to cater for full length truck and trailer units, buses, and vans. Other new features include a re-designed site layout with additional yard space, along with heavy-duty lifts and a high stud roof, so the team can lift almost any vehicle while remaining fully undercover.  

In addition, CablePrice has recently employed a team of qualified Mercedes-Benz technicians and the workshop is fully equipped with the latest specialist Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tooling. Like all CablePrice branches, Nelson provides everything from scheduled servicing and routine maintenance to general repairs and 24/7 roadside assistance.

The branch also operates a fully stocked parts department with thousands of parts in stock locally. "The team can offer quick turnaround times and prompt delivery option. Any part that’s not stocked, the experienced team can usually secure overnight," says Aidan. 

"The addition of truck and light commercial to our Nelson operation further strengthens our South Island footprint while providing Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Fuso, and Mercedes-Benz van customers with the added assurance that one of CablePrice’ six South Island branches is never far away."
