Isuzu Truck dealerships reopen at Alert Level 3
All 12 authorised Isuzu Trucks NZ dealership around the country reopen at COVID-19 Alert Level 3
Isuzu Trucks New Zealand has announced all 12 authorised dealerships around the country will reopen for business at Alert Level 3, albeit in reduced capacity adhering with operating restrictions associated with COVID-19.
General manager of Isuzu Trucks New Zealand, Dave Ballantyne said their dealer partners are in the process of preparing their premises for business, which recommences today (28 April 2020), and will be following all Alert Level 3 requirements.
"This will see the introduction of special measures to limit the possible transmission of COVID-19, including following health requirements pertaining to customer interaction as well as considerations relating to sanitation," says David.
"We need to do our best to ensure we’re providing employees and customers with a COVID-19-free environment."
Steps taken by dealerships for reopening include contactless interaction, revised new truck delivery process, guidelines regarding servicing, and to ensure vehicles are properly sanitised.
"These changes reflect an all-new way to do business and we’re certainly grateful to have the opportunity to re-engage with our customers," says David.
"Moving to Alert Level 3 is very welcomed as we will gradually be able to offer sales and servicing to all customers, not just those considered an Essential Business."
