The Top Team World Final consisted of a semi-final day, with the top four competing teams going on to a live-streamed super final. In the semi-final, All Torque All Noise qualified in top position, scoring an impressive 217 from a possible 300 points. The closely-fought super final saw the team remain calm and calculating under pressure, taking out the title and the 50,000 Euro prize money.

This year’s Scania Top Team is the 10th international event since the competition started in 1989. It has developed from a national training event into today’s global training programme, with a focus on practical and theoretical skills. New Zealand were victorious, with Switzerland in second position and Austria in third.

Russell Dixon, CablePrice technical trainer, says, "This result is all the more impressive when thinking about the other teams competing at the world final, loaded with years of Scania experience. In true Kiwi style, when the pressure was applied, All Torque All Noise shifted up a gear.

"CablePrice have an impressive record in Scania Top Team, with the team from Whangarei branch coming second in 2013, the team from Christchurch branch winning in 2015, and now a new Whangarei team winning in 2018."

Pat Ward, managing director and chief operating officer of CablePrice, says, "This is a fantastic achievement by our All Torque All Noise team, and we’re all extremely proud of the team.

"Service and parts play an integral role in ensuring that our customers’ vehicles are back on the road in the quickest time possible. For our customers, they have the added benefit of knowing they have some of the best service and parts people in the world maintaining their vehicles."
