FIXR app launched to provide Kiwi automotive solution

FIXR, New Zealand’s first app that connects vehicle owners to top automotive service providers, was launched in Auckland on 10 May

FIXR—the brainchild of founders Stan Petrich and Anton Lensvelt—provides an industry first marketplace to find a trusted service provider at a competitive price.

Users can browse the app, book appointments, choose a date and time that suits them best for vehicle drop off, and also include a description of the problem along with relevant photos.

Once a job is submitted, the user receives estimates and quotes from the service providers, which they can accept or decline. After a job is accepted, the service agent contacts the user either directly or through the app.

Other features of FIXR include ratings and feedback to service agents and an inbuilt system that matches the user’s requirements with service agents who meet their needs.

The app, which is available on both iOS and Android, currently has more than 100 registered mechanics and repairers listed in the Auckland region, with more cities and locations to be introduced as they become available.
