The cruise, which will begin at 8:30 am on Saturday, 22 July in East Tamaki, will raise money for the Starship Foundation through a $50 registration fee per truck.

"Our Meguiar's Car Crazy Charity Cruise has always been successful and well supported and there have been a few suggestions over the years about expanding it to include other types of vehicle," CRC Speedshow's Ross Prevette says.

"It's a truck-only and no trailer event, so owners can spruce up their pride and joys as any self-respecting car owner would do for a cruise. We know there are some stunning big rigs out there and we'd love to see them all along to be showcased and appreciated at the same time."

The $50 registration fee includes entry to the Rislone Big Rig Cruise and entry to the CRC Speedshow for the driver and all passengers and those taking part will also receive a Smits Gift Voucher, Rislone goodies, and the chance to take out the 'best in show' Show and Shine award.
