Alexandra Blossom Festival 2017
Check out the successful Alexandra Blossom Festival Truck Parade and the results judged from the 50 trucks that took part of the big day
The 2017 Alexandra Blossom Festival Truck Parade and Show’n’Shine was by all accounts another successful event this year. More than 50 trucks were a part of the big day, assembling at Alexandra Transport’s Dunstan Road site for judging and for the public to have a close-up look.
While the weather was predominantly overcast, the sun did make an appearance just in time for the convoy to join the Blossom Festival Parade through the crowd-lined streets of Alexandra. The coveted ‘Star of the Show’, which had the honours of leading the truck parade, was Christchurch-based Mainfreight contractor BCB Contracting’s immaculate 409SAR Kenworth.
