Screening and crushing: Titan 600

The Powerscreen Titan 600 scalping screen delivers compact, versatile performance for aggregates, recycling, and urban job sites across NZ

For more than five decades, Stevens Group has been providing equipment, parts, and aftermarket services throughout New Zealand and has evolved from a modest garage-based manufacturing and engineering venture into one of the leading companies in the machinery sector.

What has helped set Stevens apart is the desire to deliver outstanding service and support. In doing so, Stevens has developed many long relationships with customers.

All brands are long-established and known for their solid reputations in their sectors, with experienced staff being instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and helping them maximise revenue.

Stevens say they continue their vision of providing customers with superior products, driven by a commitment to customers that extend far beyond the initial sale, and a commitment to New Zealand’s growing crushing and screening industry by supplying the latest equipment and the backup to match.

Powerscreen

As Powerscreen will say about screens: the heart of the machine is within the screenbox itself. The brand is one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment. Powerscreen offers several lines of mobile screening equipment, including the Warrior and Titan ranges.

Product focus: Titan 600

Effective in aggregates, topsoil, biomass, C&D waste, and recycling, Titan was launched in 2021 – a range of secondary scalping screens to provide a cost-effective solution in high volume, smaller sized applications. The machines are a simplification of Powerscreen’s high-performing Warrior range, using key features customers like about the Warrior range and tailored to a different section of the market at an attractive price point.

The Titan 600 Scalping Screen has been specifically designed for where versatility, manoeuvrability and transportability are of key importance. It is small enough to fit inside a container for transport but strong enough to withstand tough applications. The compact size of the machine makes it a good choice for urban environments and built-up areas, especially where noise pollution can be an issue.

With the large range of screen media available, including bofor bars, finger screens, woven mesh, and punch plates, the Titan 600 is suitable for numerous applications.

The versatility of the machine allows for rapid conversion between two-way and three-way splits for stockpiling or scalping. Other benefits include a highly aggressive screen drive, low fuel consumption from an optimised hydraulic system, and quick setup time.
