Screening and crushing: Boss Attachments range

Boss Attachments supplies OSA, Xcentric and Motofog attachments for high-performance demolition, crushing and dust control

There’s a reason why brands like OSA, Xcentric, Boss and Motofog are first-choice options for contactors around the world.

“More than that, these brands have also been designed and manufactured by people who really know the industry, and understand exactly what successful contractors need,” says Paul Herbison of Boss Attachments. “And that’s hard-working gear they can rely on, to go that extra distance, and deliver increased production, with minimal downtime and lower operating costs.”

OSA – a ‘go-to’ brand

OSA has become an international go-to brand for contractors, with their range of demolition attachments including the MC and FP ranges of crushers.

The versatile OSA MC Multisystem provides contactors with a wide range of project solutions and can be fitted as a crusher, combi-cutter, pulveriser and a shear. Made entirely from HARDOX and STENX, they are designed to deliver the absolute ultimate in functionality and versatility without any compromise to task performance.

Typical client MC Multisystem comments will reference the outstanding power ratio, as well as the fast opening and closing of the jaw mechanisms, which they feel is faster and much more efficient than alternative options.

‘The OSA FPV Pulveriser Series has also hit the mark for a growing number of our clients,” says Paul.

“Designed to deliver increased production and performance for secondary demolition and recycling, these pulverisers deliver truly ground-breaking performance.”

Featuring HARDOX and Weldox construction, the FPV also includes a reversed cylinder to protect the rod from accidental hits, as well as an innovative pressure relief valve that protects the attachment from high pressure.

Crushing, screening and ripping

Xcentric Crusher Bucket and Boss Screening Buckets are also well-known leaders in their class. The Xcentric Crusher Bucket features a patented circular jaw movement and is said to deliver at least 35% greater production than conventional crusher buckets.

“These Crusher Buckets have been game changers for contractors like Neil McDonald of Paihiatua,” says Paul.

The Xcentric range also includes the revolutionary XR Hydraulic Ripper.

The attachment has helped revolutionise rock extraction on a current $11 billion USA tunnel project, where a XR82 Ripper has outperformed conventional hammers by a factor of 12, according to reports.

“Our Boss Screening Bucket is exclusively designed and manufactured for Boss Attachments to our own design specifications and are built from HARDOX and STENX materials,” says Paul.

Suitable for a wide range of aggregate types, the solid and durable design resists wear and high stress in even the toughest operating conditions and that durability is supported by a one-year warranty.

Boss Motofog

Screening and crushing can also create dust problems and here the highly respected Boss Motofog cannon comes into its very own. Units are compact, easily transportable and have very low operating costs – just add water and the machine is ready to go. The range includes diesel and electric models.

With more than five million dollars’ worth of attachments in stock, Paul says they will generally have what a customer is looking for on the floor.

“We believe our brands provide clients with the performance advantages they need in today’s highly competitive environment.”
