Ritchie Bros. gears up for nationwide auction

Ritchie Bros. is set to host its National Unreserved Auction in NZ on 29 May 2025

Ritchie Bros. is set to turn the virtual gavel on 29 May 2025, as it hosts its National Unreserved Auction in New Zealand, offering a broad mix of heavy machinery and equipment to the highest bidder—no reserves, no minimums.

Running exclusively online via the IronPlanet platform, the auction gives buyers access to a wide range of gear from across the construction, transport, and agricultural sectors.

“This is an exciting auction for us in New Zealand,” says Greg Shivnan, territory manager at Ritchie Bros. “We’ve got a strong line-up of equipment coming through our Drury yard, including a large selection of unused mini excavators and skid steer loaders, as well as articulated dump trucks, asphalt compactors, containers, crawler dozers, wheel loaders, and agricultural tractors.”

The auction presents sellers with a chance to offload surplus assets and reach a global pool of buyers, thanks to Ritchie Bros.’ expansive international network. For buyers, it’s a rare chance to secure quality equipment at market value in a fully transparent environment.

Viewing location: Ritchie Bros. Yard, 25b Tegal Road, Drury, Auckland

Platform: Online only via IronPlanet.com.au
