DSX/Drill Sergeant
One of the additions to the Pilehire fleet of drilling tools has been the DSX/Drill Sergeant, an excavator-mounted drill rig connected via a quick hitch. They are also building bigger units to drill up to 24 metres as an attachment for larger excavators and some smaller units for tight spots or low headroom.
A remote control allows for flexible use, enabling operators and spotters to control the unit from either inside or outside the cab. This feature not only enhances the visibility of the hole being drilled but also helps the users maximise safety and productivity for their projects.
Parken Engineering
Supporting Pilehire’s operations is their sister company Parken Engineering. Responsible for all fabrication, hydraulic component supply, repair, and service work, Parken Engineering ensures that Pilehire is well-equipped to build or modify a wide range of equipment. They also help with on-site engineering jobs, such as casing and beam splicing.
