Case CE has introduced the new Minotaur DL550, a compact dozer loader, in Australia
The company has merged the performance of a dozer with the agility of a loader, in what Case says is a machine that creates a versatile and powerful tool designed to transform the job site.
To deliver dozer capabilities the Minotaur DL550 design consists of an integrated C-frame, along with the capabilities of a loader. The combination helps ensure that the Minotaur can handle heavy-duty dozing to delicate fine grading with ease.
The Minotaur’s fully chassis-integrated C-frame, equipped with the same blade featured on the Case 650M dozer, has 11.7 tonnes of drawbar pull to ensure smooth and efficient dozing, while its vertical lift path and 2495kg rated operating capacity make it a highly capable site loader.
The addition, Case CE says an industry-exclusive integrated ripper is fitted, and the machine’s compatibility with hundreds of attachments should make the Minotaur stand out for its versatility and functionality.
The machine is expected to thrive in an array of different applications, including land clearing, roadwork, trenching, storm cleanup, landscaping, and utility work.
Case CE says the Minotaur DL550 is the result of extensive research and development that has involved those on the ground in real-life applications and is backed by 29 patents and over 10,000 hours of rigorous field testing.
Additionally, Case’s team conducted multiple customer clinics and numerous operator evaluations, continuously refining the product based on user feedback.
Operators will benefit from a fully sealed and pressurised cab, rollover protection system/falling object protection system, ventilation system with integrated heater, air conditioning and an AM/FM Bluetooth radio with USB.
Case CE says feedback from Australian roadshow events was overwhelmingly positive, generating enthusiastic responses and promising leads.
