Kobelco NZ has announced the appointment of new service provider partners across the Waikato, Lower North Island, and Canterbury regions

In a move aimed at enhancing customer service and support, Kobelco New Zealand has announced the appointment of new service provider partners across the Waikato, Lower North Island, and Canterbury regions. From 1 April 2024, these partners replaced MIMICO as Kobelco’s service provider in the specified regions.

The Kobelco Authorised Service Partner network represents a significant step forward in Kobelco’s strategy of delivering direct-to-market solutions and seamless service experiences for its customers throughout New Zealand. With a focus on enhanced customer support and fast response times, Kobelco Authorised Service Partners bring a wealth of expertise and proven track records of exceptional service within their local areas, the brand says.

“Our number-one focus is to ensure that our service partners embody the values of the Kobelco brand and continue to deliver the high-quality service and support that our customers expect,” says Jason Cann, general manager of Kobelco New Zealand.

Kobelco New Zealand has 19 Authorised Service Partner locations across the country, servicing Kobelco owners from the tip of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. Kobelco Authorised Service Partners are strategically located near population centres throughout the country, providing a local point of contact for all Kobelco warranty repairs, service, and spare parts support.

The Kobelco New Zealand head office distribution centre in Takanini will now extend its area of field service support from Auckland, south to Huntly, through to Waihi and the Coromandel.

The new service providers are Total Equipment and Machinery (Waikato South), Mobile Mechanical Solutions (Palmerston North and Whanganui), WAZ Mechanical (Wellington), and Infinite Mechanical (Canterbury region).
