LDX has been awarded an exclusive service and maintenance contract to manage Fonterra’s material handling fleet
As of 1 October, LDX, the official New Zealand distributor of Linde Material Handling Equipment, has begun its role as the exclusive service and maintenance provider of Linde Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Under the agreement, LDX will manage and maintain a large number of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) units across Fonterra’s Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain operations within NZ.
“Fonterra is one of New Zealand’s largest companies, so to be awarded this contract is a huge vote of confidence in LDX,” says Colm Hamrogue, CEO of LDX and its parent company, TDX.
“Fonterra has a large fleet and the LDX team worked hard to demonstrate that we will be up to the challenge. We have a talented team of service technicians and support staff, located around the country, and are privileged to be given the opportunity to support Fonterra’s operations.
“There’s also a strong and shared alignment with regards to environmental considerations and sustainability initiatives, such as reducing our respective carbon footprints. Linde innovation such as the Lithium-ION battery range supports this approach.

Fonterra’s national operations manager—assets, Kent Pohio, highlighted the benefits of working with a supplier familiar with their needs.
