Designed to enhance operator comfort, sustainability, and productivity, the SK26SR-7 sets a new standard in compact excavators, the manufacturer says. With increased engine power compared to its predecessors, the model also prioritises ergonomic excellence with a redesigned premium cabin.
The interior features Grammer suspension seats for superior shock absorption and ergonomic wrist rests, all designed to reduce operator fatigue during extended use.
Other modern cabin amenities include strategically placed air vents, LED backlighting for improved visibility in low-light conditions, and convenient smartphone connectivity via USB and AUX ports.
A user-friendly colour monitor provides access to operational data, maintenance schedules, and essential gauges.
The SK26SR-7 model is available in two versions: the Air Con Enclosed Cab and the ROPS Canopy model.
Aligned with Kobelco’s commitment to sustainability, the SK26SR-7 offers dual working modes — one maximising power and an eco-mode that Kobelco says reduces fuel consumption by up to 25%. Auto-deceleration functionality further enhances efficiency by automatically adjusting engine speed during idle periods.
Externally, the SK26SR-7 ensures operator safety and ease of use with features such as a hinged cabin door for easy access, a flip-up left console with integrated controls, and ergonomically designed levers that help minimise wrist strain.
Enhanced visibility is facilitated by strategically positioned LED work lights, an enlarged skylight opening, and an INDr filter system that preserves cooling efficiency in challenging environments.
