Product feature: Kato, Tufftruk, and Tuffbelt minis

When it comes to mini construction equipment, YRCO has a range of flexible and interchangeable products

Convenient for transporting and moving around a variety of job sites, Kato mini excavators and Tufftruk mini dumpers along with Tuffbelt portable conveyors provide good opportunities for improved cost-efficiencies.

Kato mini excavators

The Kato HD12VXE is a mini excavator designed to be small enough to pass through a door that’s no more than 90cm wide. Expanding tracks and blade to provide greater flexibility and with a quick change from wide to narrow mode, YRCO says it’s the smallest front radius mini excavator in its class. Its 1180kg weight is ideal for transport on trucks in the 3.5-tonne category.

Also in the line-up are the 1.7-tonne zero tail swing Kato HD17VXE or conventional tail swing HD19VXT (with optional cabin) models, which feature industry-leading digging depth, dump height, reach, and breakout force. Power and speed of excavation are assured when working in confined spaces. The variable gauge undercarriage offers high operating stability and versatility on particularly uneven or steep ground. A Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) is standard across these three models, and the ROPS can be lowered on the HD12VXE so that the digger can be stored in a smaller space.

Kato and Tufftruk mini dumpers

Also on offer is a wide range of mini dumpers from Kato and Tufftruk. Kato tracked dumpers have the agility and versatility to go over rough terrain and are also easy to maintain. With a payload ranging from 500 to 1000kg, these mini dumpers are available in a wide range to suit, including petrol, diesel, or electric preferences as well as an optional loading shovel on some models.

With two payload sizes of 300kg or 450kg, the 4×4 wheel drive Tufftruk mini dumper has an articulated chassis for greater manoeuvrability and offers excellent load capacity for use in and around work sites, the manufacturer says.

The well-balanced, robust unit fits through a normal door size, is easily transportable, and is compact enough for easy storage. The Tufftruk comes in battery or petrol options.

Tuffbelt Mini-Max conveyor system

The Tuffbelt Mini-Maxi conveyer system is practical, reliable, simple to maintain and adjust, easy to install, compact, and versatile. It’s built strong from the toughest materials and available in 4.5-metre sections.
